Message from the Superintendent

January 2020

The Oroville Union High School District has been working hard to create schools that the community can be proud of.  At both of our comprehensive high schools, we offer rigorous academics, competitive athletic teams, award winning arts and music programs, and excellent student clubs and activities.

Each year, the District is required to share our data with all stakeholders (teachers, staff, students, parents, and community members), seek input from stakeholders and then develop a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), which addresses how the district will improve.  Once our Board approves the LCAP in June, it is submitted to the Butte County Office of Education for approval.

Stakeholders will have multiple opportunities to review the California School Dashboard Indicators and provide input in the development of the OUHSD Local Control Accountability Plan.

We will have two LCAP meetings for all stakeholders:

Oroville High School Library on January 27, 2020 at 5pm

Las Plumas High School Library on February 25, 2020 at 5pm

As we work together to make the high schools in the Oroville Union High School District great places for kids to learn, please do not hesitate to contact me by telephone at (530)-538-2300 x 1107, or by email at if you have questions, concerns and/or comments that I can assist you with.
