Social emotional learning continues to be an important part of every student's education and schools around the country offer lessons to help students develop the social and emotional skills they need to be more successful in school and as they move on to college and careers. OUHSD is offering a series of social emotional learning sessions over the course of the 2021-2022 school year. Topics are intended to engage students in skills, issues, and discourse related to areas students will encounter in their daily lives as well as to support students in their transition into adulthood. Topics are NOT intended to sway students toward a particular belief; however, we recognize that some topics may be sensitive. OUHSD will provide parents with the SEL learning materials before each assembly.
