Donate socks, bring in canned food, or find some other way to help those in need. In the words of philosopher and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson; “You cannot do a kindness too soon because you never know how soon it will be too late.”

3.      BE A STUDENT THAT ROCKS AND DONATE SOCKS! – OHS Interact Club will be collecting socks in Period 3, December 1 – 5 and December 8 – 12.  For every 12 pair of socks collected, Oroville Sunrise Rotary Club matches them with a new pair of shoes.  The shoes and socks will be given to children during holiday season.  Boxes will be in every classroom.  Socks must be donated in sizes to fit kindergarten through 6th graders.  If you cannot donate socks, you can make a cash donation.  One dollar would be equivalent to one pair of socks.  The 3rd period class with the most socks/cash donation gets a pizza party.  Second place gets doughnuts.  Third place gets candy.  Any remaining socks will be split between the Oroville Rescue Mission and the Salvation Army.
