Graduation Notices
Important Dates - 2008 Grads
 

Graduation:  June 6th 8:15pm  (gates open at 6:30)

Students:  Please be at Harrison Stadium the morning of June 6th for practice at 8:30am sharp!  If you do not attend practice, you will not walk!  Practice will be approximately 3 hours - so bring your water and your sunscreen!

 

Seniors: Don't forget to pick up your diploma right after the ceremony.
A table will be set up for you.

 Harrison Stadium: Exit off Hwy 70 on Montgomery St. (east)  Turn right on 5th. The field will be on your left near the intersection of 5th and Mitchell Streets.

Graduation is May 31st, 2007 at 8:15pm at Harrison Stadium. 

The "Safe Grad Night" all-night party begins right after graduation.

May 7 Graduation Speeches due to the Principal All potential Graduates need to have a signed District Graduation Contract, and pay all bills before they will be allowed to participate in the Graduation ceremony.  This year we are trying to accommodate as many family members as possible by placing the stage in middle of the field, which will allow seating on both sides of the stadium.  We also will be providing seating on both sides of the Harrison Stadium track for those family members using wheel chairs, or need special accommodations.  There will be no reserve seating for the event, it will be first come first serve.  The gates will be open at 6:30pm on the both sides of the stadium.   
May 7 Safe Grad Night Planning Meeting, 6:30 p.m. @ OUHSD Office
May 11  Safe Grad insurance waiver is due
May 14 Speeches and song tryouts for Graduation
May 18 Permission Slips for Senior Picnic are due
May 21 Safe Grad Night Planning Meeting, 6:30 p.m. @ OUHSD Office
May 21-25 Rehearsals for speeches and songs after school
May 22

Academic awards at the State Theater, 6:30 p.m.
May 25 Senior Picnic at the Oroville Forebay.  Note:  Senior’s must have permission slips, and have their bills paid to participate
May 31 Graduation practice 9:00 a.m. sharp at Harrison Stadium
Graduation Ceremony 8:15 p.m. – Graduates please meet in the Armory Building no later than 7:15p.m.
May 31 Safe Grad Night will be held at the Municipal Auditorium, doors open at 10:00 p.m. You may not participate without insurance waiver turned in.

 

The seniors will be having Graduation practice on the morning of May 31, which is the morning of 5th and 6th period finals.   from 9:00 – 12:00 at Harrison Stadium on May 31st.
