BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT Be sure to tell your parents about Back to School night on Wednesday, Sept. 10. Mr. Tracy will speak at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Union followed by classroom visits at 7:00 p.m. Students, be sure to provide your parents with YOUR class schedule! 4. HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR NATIVE AMERICANS Feather River Tribal Health, Inc., is a non-profit agency that provides healthcare services to Native Americans living within Butte County. The mission of FRTH is to elevate the health status of American Indian people in our area. If you are Native American or know someone who is that could use medical, dental, or counseling services, call 534-5394 or go to 2145 Fifth Avenue in Oroville. 5. ATTENTION ALL STUDENT REPS Meeting on Tuesday 6th period to discuss school events. Please check in with your 6th period teacher before attending. 6. BLOCK O Meeting on Wednesday during break in room M-4. New members welcome. 7. DANCE THIS FRIDAY 70s/80s Dance this Friday! Help celebrate the start of the school year at our first dance this Friday after the football game. This dance is sponsored by Link Crew and will be held in the Student Union from 10:00 12:00 p.m. An i-pod shuffle and other cool prizes will be given out for best dancer and best costume! General admission is $2.00 and if youre dressed in 70s or 80s attire admission is $1.00. So, get your 70s or 80s gear ready to go and boogie on over to the dance this Friday night! 8. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Are you someone who likes to meet new people and try new things? If you are, come down to the Oroville Teen Center aka The Club, opening September 15th. THE LIVE SPOT Wanting to give back to the community by volunteering at places like the Live Sport or SPCA? Come by the Live Spot TODAY from 3:30 5:30. The Live Spot is located on Spencer and B Street. See U guys there! 10. JOB OPENING Part-time opening with Dr. Hayes Medical Office (after school) for a student interested in the medical field. Position: File clerk and other clerical-related tasks. Requires filing skills, internet experience and computer skills. Present a neat appearance at 2780 Oro Dam Blvd. #2 (Jody Baroni, Office Manager-533-7727). Bring a resume and letter(s) of recommendation. 11. MINIMUM DAY SCHEDULE On Wednesday, September 10, we will be on Minimum Day schedule. School for students will be dismissed at 12:24.
