Advanced Placement Program - Student and Parent Information
Advanced Placement gives you the chance to try college-level work in high school,
and to gain valuable skills and study habits for college. If you get a "qualifying"
grade on the AP Exam, there are thousands of colleges worldwide that will give
credit or advanced placement for your efforts.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB)
The ASVAB is a multi-aptitude test battery that is designed to measure your
aptitudes at this time in your life. It consists of ten short individual
tests covering Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic
Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, General Science, Auto & Shop Information,
Mechanical Comprehension, Electronics Information, Numerical Operations and
Coding Speed.

California High School Proficiency Examination
Students can earn the legal equivalent of a high school diploma by proving
proficiency in basic skills through the California High School Proficiency
Examination (CHSPE).Passing CHSPE does not exempt you from attending school
unless you are 16 or over and have verified parental permission to leave
early.
