Board Online Scholarship Search
Locate scholarships, loans, internships, and other financial aid programs from
non-college sources that match your education level, talents, and background.
The
Governor's Scholarship Program
This is the site where students can get information about claiming their
$1000 scholarships awarded for high academic achievement on various
exams in the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program. Also
there is information about receiving the $2500 Governor's Distinguished
Mathematics and Science Scholars Award for public high school students
who, in addition to receiving the Governor's Scholars Award, attained
required scores on: 1) Advanced Placement (AP) exams, 2) International
Baccalaureate (IB) exams or 3) Golden State Exams (GSE)

Complete and submit Financial Aid application online. Most financial aid packages
granted by colleges and universities to fund a student's higher education are
dependent on the completion of this form.

guaranteed). Also offered is a complete glossary of terms related to
college funding.
Chico
State Scholarship Search
Chico State has provided a searchable scholarship database with over 500 scholarships
for county seniors, as well as their own students.
Chico State Financilal Aid
This is a good site to explore financial aid information, even if one is
not planning to attend CSU. It includes loan calculators, information
about searching for scholarships, and explanations about available aid
programs. The CSU Financial Aid office welcomes appointments with Arcata
High parents to discuss and answer questions about financial aid packages
offered to the family by the numerous colleges to which their student has
been accepted.
