Hi,
My name is Tami Taylor and I am a health/ drivers education teacher here at Las Plumas High School. I was Raised Just up the road in a small town called Quincy and attended CSU Chico. Upon graduating from Chico State, where I earned my BA and teaching credential, I moved big city and spent 1 year teaching at Ocala Middle High School in San Jose, CA. I was married in 1986 and started teaching here at Las Plumas High School in the spring of 1987. My first teaching assignment was in physical education before I went back to college and completed my supplement to teach my current assignment of health/ drivers education. I enjoy my job and the challenges that go with it.
In my spare time I can be found riding my horses and spending quality time with my family. My husband Jim and I have three children: one daughter named Ashlee and two sons Scott & Randall. My interests are sports, traveling and the never-ending job of gardening.
