Taught Period 1 and 2

Linguistics is a reading class designed to excel students who come into high school with a reading level below 4th grade equivalency.  In this class we use Direct Instruction utilizing the 

Corrective Reading Program (SRA)

and Read 180 (Scholastic) Program

If anyone is interested in this (or one of our other reading courses) I invite you to please come by the 100 Wing to visit our Reading 180 Lab.  This lab was established on our campus Fall 2005.  It  has been a great addition and we, in the Reading Dept., are very excited and proud with the results we've seen in the reading level advancement of our students.  This program has been a great success.
