It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to
succeed. In this life we get nothing save by effort.
Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good
conscience to remain silent.
Every generation needs a new revolution.
