Lael Schneider

 Hi There!                                               

     My name is Lael "The Big Dog" Schneider.  I currently teach 5 freshmen classes of Physical Education.  The units that I will teach this year are as follows:  fitness, basketball, soccer, volleyball, recreational games, tennis, track, and aerobics.    

     I coach the Varsity Girls Basketball team.  We have 11 hard working, smart girls on the team.  This will be a fun year as we develop individually and as a team.  I am positive that lots of laughs will be had and memories made with these girls filled with tons of personality.

     I am married to Brent Schneider who teaches second grade at Stanford Avenue.  Brent can be seen skating at the parks around town or hanging out with our daughter Avery at the games.  We met at Chico State and were fortunate to find jobs in the area and make Chico our home.  We have a new happy daughter named Avery who will be a year in January.  She makes us laugh and smile daily.

    In my spare time I love to hang out with my family and friends.  My favorite spots to travel are the Oregon Coast and San Diego.  I also enjoy working out, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, and training for triathlons.
