Biography
May of 1990 I began working as a licensed Psychiatric Technician
for the Porterville Developmental Center. For the following 14 years,
I worked with disabled adults and troubled adolescents in a variety of settings.
During this time, I continued going to school and graduated with a B.S in
Human Development. My family and I moved to Washington State where I began
working in two school districts as a Family Empowerment and Student
Assistant Specialist. In these two schools, I provided services such as;
drug/alcohol counseling, parenting classes, self esteem groups, and mentoring
programs. I also completed a master program in School Counseling and returned to
California. I have been working at Las Plumas High School since February 5th,
2007 and have enjoyed my time here. I currently work with 9th thru 12th grades
and I am also co-freshman advisor. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading and
listening to Classic Rock!
