Mr. Glenn Dawson

Biography
.....Mr.
Dawson began his teaching career at Las Plumas High School
in 1979 teaching music and art. In 1994, he taught Sophomore
English at LPHS and worked at the Center of Independent
Study for the Oroville Union High School District. In 1997,
he was one of the founders of Challenge Charter High School.
.....In
the fall of 2004, Mr. Dawson returned to his home school,
LPHS, and is currently teaching Introduction to acting
and photography.
.....Mr.
Dawson also owns Gold Country Songwriting a music publishing
company. He travels to Nashville whenever possible to write
and record demo recordings. He has written songs with Dewayne
Blackwell who wrote “Friends In Low Places” and has spent
time in with Garth Brooks recording a demo. He currently
has three songs recorded on Pete Stringfellow's new artist
album. One of his other loves is teaching guitar, songwriting
and music business to students interested in pursuing a
music career.

is looking forward to teaching digital photography and
digital movie making in a new facility being built this
year at LPHS. Fine Arts has always been a passion for Mr.
Dawson and he loves working with high school students.
