Mr.Ramos

I graduated from Hamilton High School in Hamilton City , CA and entered CSU, Chico , where I majored in Agricultural Science. After graduation, I taught at Chico High School and Hamilton High School part-time and worked in the construction industry. Before being hired at Las Plumas High School, I worked as a counselor at a boy's ranch in Nevada City . I joined the staff at Las Plumas High School in 1996 and taught Agriculture classes; mainly Agricultural Engineering. I also worked during summers and breaks as a truck driver and equipment operator for a construction company in the oil and gas fields. I was hired as an Assistant Principal during the 2003-2004 school year and have enjoyed my job.

During my “off time” I spend time with my 3 kids and work on my family’s cattle ranch. I enjoy hunting and camping; mainly in Lassen County , at our family cabin at Eagle Lake . I also work as a Paid Call Firefighter/EMT (Volunteer) for the Town of Paradise .
