The 2004-2005 Las Plumas Art Club is a club designed to be another way for students who like art to use their talents in a way that doesn't have a letter grade after each semester. This web site is devoted to LP Art Club to promote it and let students exhibit their artwork on the internet for their friends and family to see.
LP Art Club meets every Thursday at 12:15 (lunch) in room 219 (Mr. Caspers' class). Those who come can start their own group project or work on a project independently. Projects can be anything from painting murals to working on a giant painting together. Students in the club pay a $5.00 lab fee for the entire year in order to use any art materials they wish to use (if you are enrolled in an art class already, you don't need to pay the Art Club lab fee).
The club is also fundraising to go to San Francisco at the end of the year. We plan to visit art museums and have fun in Japantown for a day. So some artwork is for sale, and if you like some of the artwork you see, you can contact the Art Club if you're interested in buying (this is another purpose of this web page).
The artwork that is marked FOR SALE can be bought by making arrangements by leaving a message for Mr. Caspers at (530) 538-2310 (you can make an offer if the artist has not specified a price)
The following students have their own exclusive LP art pages:
