Safety Practices
The learner will be able to
understand the health hazards, dual risks of tobacco smoke and other toxic chemicals, safety practices, and environmental hazards related to their work in the shop. Students will operate and use equipment in the shop safely and efficiently; develop a list of environmental hazards; and discuss ways of dealing with health and safety concerns.
