Responsibilities as a Parent of a student at CCHS

  • Make sure your student attends class everyday, not just make sure they get to school.  If students are not in class, they can't learn what is taught.
  • At home, create a consistent, quite spot for your student to study EVERYDAY.
  • It is GUARANTEED that your student has at least 30 minutes a day of homework for every class, even if it just reading or rewriting their class notes.  Check their assignment logs for more information.
  • Tests are very important, make sure your student studies for every test.
  • If you need help in any of the above responsibilities or if you have any concerns, please contact the principal or your student's teachers for ideas on how to help your student succeed.
