MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER

Board President, Mr. Bruce, called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2007, at the District Office.

ROLL CALL

Board Members Present:   Dave Bruce, Brenda Harris and Ed Hottell

Administrators Present:  Dwayne Robinson, Superintendent

CLOSED SESSION

RESULTS OF CLOSED SESSION

At 10:40 a.m., the board reconvened to Open Session.  In Closed Session, no action was taken.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

APPROVAL OF AGENDA VARIANCE

On a motion by Mr. Hottell, seconded by Ms. Harris, the board voted unanimously to approve the addition of an Amended Personnel Assignment Order, Item #1.

1.     Amended Personnel Assignment Order

#34-07/08:  On a motion by Ms. Harris, seconded by Mr. Hottell, the board unanimously approved the following amended Personnel Assignment Order:

Certificated Substitute Teachers Erik Lawrence Scott Johnson Cynda Fuentes 1.0 FTE CCHS Teacher Probationary Class/Step III/1, $40310/yr Effective 8/27/07 *David Avalos Fee Based Instructor - OAE Spanish Effective 08/27/08

Classified Michela Monnot Para-Educator II – CCHS 3.9 hrs/day, school day only Step/Class, 12/C, $13.14/hr Effective 8/27/07 Substitute Custodian Sharie Rodriguez David Pina Substitute Campus Supervisor Sharie Rodriguez David Pina Substitute Courier Noel Robertson Joel Jenkins Parjit Kaur David Pina Substitute Food Service Worker David Pina *Gary Nystuen Back up Emergency Medical Technician to cover all home football games $35.00/hr. Effective 8/24/07

(Irrespective of effective dates, new employees may not report to their school campus until Personnel Office has communicated completion of pre-employment requirements to site Principal.)
